ROLE Reporting to the Financ ial Controller, the Senior Management Accountant will take responsibility for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support the business. Youll work closely with both finance and operational teams to drive improvements and ensure the smooth running of the finance function. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including variance analysis. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and insight. Collaborate with the Finance Director and wider team on financial analysis to support decision-making. Take ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations and oversee the month-end close process. Provide support on group reporting requirements and align with group standards. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency. Mentor and support junior finance team members to aid their development. PERSON The ideal candidate will be an experienced accountant who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will have strong technical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Desirable background: QBE, Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Proven experience in management accounts preparation and financial analysis. Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience in a £50m turnover business. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Previous experience in a manufacturing or renewables organisation is advantageous. OFFER Salary : £50,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) benefits. Contract : 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for future opportunities.
