About the Role
As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operational management of inpatient and urgent care services for mental health patients, ensuring the delivery of safe, patient-centred, and efficient care. Working closely with clinical teams, senior managers, and external stakeholders, you will lead service improvement initiatives, manage resources, and support the development of innovative care pathways.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide operational leadership for inpatient and urgent care services, ensuring services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
2. Manage staffing, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient service delivery.
3. Drive service improvements to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
4. Monitor performance against key targets, including waiting times, access, and patient flow.
5. Lead on compliance with national and local standards, including CQC requirements.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions between services.
7. Engage with service users and carers to incorporate their feedback into service design.
8. Support workforce development, including training, supervision, and wellbeing initiatives.
