We are seeking a dedicated Sector Support Cleaner to join the KAN team, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality, self-managed services across the aligned UK sector.
This position collaborates closely with both direct and indirect account teams to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain compliance at the frontline.
Job Description
This role involves managing all aspects of cleaning operations for assigned sites, including delivering periodic cleaning in line with client specifications and schedules, adhering to security procedures and policies, and responding promptly to Sector Manager requests.
Responsibilities include maintaining strong relationships with client representatives and company personnel, ensuring storerooms are organised and stocked, and properly training new employees on cleaning routines, waste procedures, and security protocols.
Accurate record-keeping, time management, and effective communication are essential, with visits documented and full shift durations adhered to.
The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented approach, a willingness to take ownership, and flexibility for travel and occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
* All aspects of cleaning operational delivery within the site in remit
* Respond to Sector Manager requests as required.
* Periodic Cleaning delivered as per the client specification and as per the Schedule to 100%.
* Always adhere to client’s specific security procedures and policies
* Maintain relationships with employer’s representatives and company personnel, as necessary.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* Previous cleaning experience is essential for this role
* Comfortable working in a mobile role
* Full, clean UK Driving Licence
* Ability to communicate with and support front-line colleagues effectively
* Ability to manage client expectations and deliver customer-focused solutions
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, outstanding customer service with remote business groups
* Must be flexible, adaptable and proactive
* Ability to effectively manage priorities and projects
* Able to build good working relationships in a professional manner with internal stakeholders
* Good MS Office skills
* Able to pass an Enhanced DBS test
