Job Description
Chartwell Marine is looking to appoint an experienced Office and Finance Administrator to join our multi award-winning team. As an Office and Finance Administrator you will be responsible for actioning invoices, book-keeping and supporting the administrative functions at our office in Port Hamble, Southampton.
Key Tasks will include:
1. Making payments, invoicing, book-keeping, submission of payroll info, processing of sales orders and purchase orders.
Essential skills you’ll need for the role:
1. Transferable experience.
2. Knowledge of book-keeping and reconciliation using accounting software such as Xero/Quickbooks.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Excellent MS Office skills (particularly Outlook, Excel & Word).
5. Highly organised and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work independently.
6. Ability to work independently whilst being a positive contributor to the wider team.
7. Experience of scheduling work and diary management.
8. Experience in communicating with remote teams.
9. Experience or interest in the maritime industry.
