Location: Bury St Edmunds Hours: 3 hours every Friday night Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About Us: Norwich City Football Club’s Regional Development Programme (RDP) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Coach for our Girls Football Player Development Programme in Bury St Edmunds. We are committed to supporting the growth and development of talented female footballers and providing them with high-quality coaching that will help them reach their full potential. Job Description: As the Head Coach for the Girls Football Player Development Programme, you will be responsible for leading weekly training sessions, focusing on player development, skills enhancement, and creating a positive, inclusive environment for all participants. You will be key in delivering our football philosophy, helping to nurture and develop players in alignment with the Norwich City RDP’s values. Key Responsibilities: Lead a 3-hour training session every Friday night. Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality coaching sessions. Support player development, ensuring all participants receive the coaching and feedback needed to progress. Provide individual player assessments and communicate with parents/guardians where necessary. Work closely with the programme’s management team to ensure smooth operation of the sessions. Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere, ensuring all players feel encouraged and motivated. Requirements: FA Level 2/UEFA C Licence or higher. Experience coaching girls’/women’s football at a development level. Strong communication and organisational skills. Passion for developing young female footballers and promoting women's football. Availability every Friday evening for 3 hours in Bury St Edmunds. Desirable: FA Safeguarding Children & Emergency First Aid qualifications. Experience working within a football development programme or academy structure.
