Teaching personnel are working with a one form entry school in Garstang, where we have received a vacancy for an experienced qualified teacher. This is a class teacher role in KS1, for a lovely Year 2 class. The Head Teacher is looking for a teacher that is dedicated to helping children to achieve their best both academically and personally. The Head is also looking to interview candidates that come forward, to be able to employ the ideal Teacher for their school.
The school will expect you to demonstrate your knowledge of the KS1 curriculum in planning and preparing learning activities, alongside continuous provision activities for the children to engage and explore. As an EYFS Teacher you will be responsible for inspiring children to develop a love of learning through passion and positivity.
The successful candidate will be capable of:
- Planning and delivering engaging and innovative lessons of an excellent standard, derived from a sound knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Addressing gaps in learning due to school closures and aid the children in their reintegration to school life.
- Consistently implementing the school’s strong behavioural strategy with confidence as to enforce high standards towards learning and the classroom environment.
- Establishing positive and trusting relationships with the students and to create a positive learning attitude.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on Key Stage 1.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Year 2.
* A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
