Requirements:
We are looking for a C# .NET Software Developer who has proven experience developing Windows Forms applications with C# or VB.NET in a commercial environment. Additionally, you should have web development experience in ASP.NET MVC, unit testing experience, and an ability to debug large, multi-solution, multi-layer projects. You must demonstrate object-oriented programming practices, understand SOLID principles and design patterns, and possess strong SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server (2012 onwards), including relational database design and performance diagnostics. Please note that you must be a UK resident with unrestricted rights to work in the UK; we cannot offer sponsorship for overseas candidates.
Your responsibilities are:
In this role, you will design, develop, modify, and maintain our range of software products, ensuring alignment with published standards and guidelines. You will propose and assess solutions to design issues by identifying and evaluating new technologies and third-party components. Mentorship of junior team members will also be part of your responsibilities, along with maintaining a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies pertinent to our business. You will interpret business requirements and technical specifications to complete estimates for change requests within established SLAs and gain an understanding of our client's industry and customer base requirements, ensuring they are met by our product range.

The position offers a salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a flexible remote/hybrid working model. You will benefit from 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, an additional day of holiday for each year of service (up to 35 days), excellent career progression, a company pension, and on-site free parking. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, and we prefer candidates who can reliably commute or are willing to relocate to Birmingham, West Midlands before starting work.
