Site Engineer with Marine Civil engineering experience required
Location: South Essex (Tilbury)

Due to an increase in workload and some new and exciting projects, this reputable South East based civils contractor are looking for someone to join them on a freelance basis, working on a project that is due to start in the Essex area. This is a marine civils project and experience with marine civils is essential.
The role:
Setting out for the project
Understand and assist in the implementation of site safety systems
Ensure workforce and contractors understand setting out information
Assist and prepare sketches for distribution on ensuring all teams understand the plans
Preparation of as-builts
Recording and testing of workmanship and materials i.e. drainage, concrete, piling and brickwork
Maintain the drawing register
Provide Engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and queries are answeredAbout you:
Over 5 years experience in engineering
Excellent interpersonal skills
Laptop
Working knowledge of CAD
Basic survival training (can be provided)
CSCS Card
