As part of our Legal Services team, you’ll provide legal advice and defend disrepair claims. You’ll manage cases, draft witness evidence, prepare court documentation, and represent at court.

What you’ll be doing:
8. Handling a case load of routine, complex, and potentially sensitive legal cases consisting of contentious and non-contentious matters including advice on repairs obligations
9. Maintaining a working knowledge of all relevant law and practice which affects ForHousing, undertaking legal research when required
10. Providing specialist legal and procedural advice to ForHousing and colleagues as appropriate
11. Representing the organisation and acting as a professional legal advocate in courts and tribunals
12. Developing a lead role for law and practice, aligning with ForHousing’s activities, to focus on disrepair, and including tenancy enforcement, injunction, and general housing management advice
