Hours: 12.5 per week, Monday to Friday, Either 6.00am - 8.30am or 3.30pm - 6.00pm (can be discussed) all year around
Salary: Grade: 1 SCP 3-4 £12.45 - £12.65 per hour (FTE £24,027 - £24,404, actual salary £8,117 - £8,244.59)

About the Role:
As a Cleaner at High Littleton, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our school. This includes a variety of tasks, from general cleaning duties like dusting, vacuuming, and mopping, to specialised cleaning procedures using equipment like floor buffers and carpet cleaners. You will also be responsible for replenishing supplies and ensuring our facilities are well-maintained. In food technology areas, you'll play a vital role in keeping cookers and work surfaces sparkling. Full training on equipment and procedures will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is a team player, takes pride in their work, and is committed to maintaining high standards. You should be able to follow instructions, work independently, and be adaptable to the demands of a busy school environment. A friendly and approachable demeanour is essential, as you'll be interacting with staff and students daily. While previous cleaning experience is desirable, it's not essential. We encourage anyone with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn to apply. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required. You will need to be comfortable using electronic devices for communication and be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and stretching.
