We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Manager to take the reins of a brand-new 2-bed children’s home in New Brighton, providing support for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). What You’ll Be Doing: Running the Show : Take full responsibility for the daily management and operations of the home, ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets Ofsted's standards. Leading & Inspiring : Guide and motivate your team, helping them provide the best care and support to the children. Tailored Care : Develop and oversee individual care plans and risk assessments to ensure each child’s unique needs are met. Communication : Build strong relationships with the children, their families, and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. Compliance & Safeguarding : Keep up with Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures to ensure the home is safe and compliant. Resource Management : Take charge of budgets, resources, and administrative tasks to keep everything running efficiently. Positive Culture : Create an inclusive, positive environment that celebrates diversity and puts the wellbeing of the children at the forefront. What We’re Looking For: Proven Experience : You’ve worked as a Deputy or Registered Manager in a children’s home before and know the ins and outs of residential childcare. Qualifications : You hold (or are working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Ofsted Knowledge : You’re familiar with Ofsted regulations, legislation, and best practices in children’s care. Leadership Skills : You’re a natural leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to Safeguarding : You’re dedicated to promoting the safety and welfare of children.
