Behaviour Support Worker
Mainstream school with internal SEMH provision
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000
Position: Full-time Temporary to Permanent
NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a Secondary school in Bradford that is part of a multi-academy trust. We are looking for a Behaviour Support Worker seeking a new full-time opportunity starting after February half term.
This role involves supporting students with behavioural issues and assisting pupils within the provision. The main objective is to minimise class disruptions and help pupils transition from the provision back into their assigned classes.
This is a full-time temporary to permanent position working Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm with 12 weeks of holiday per year.
Minimum Requirements:
Please note, if you do not have 12+ months of experience working with SEMH students, you will not be shortlisted for this position.
Successful Applications Will Have:
* 12 months of relevant experience
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
* 2x professional references
* Right to work in the UK
* Strong understanding of behaviour and the ability to adapt to different learning needs
