Role Summary:
To support the Service Coordinator in the delivery of high quality supported living services in line with company policy to enable people to live independently and safely within their own home, living the best lives possible. The rehab services are run in partnership with our parent company NAViGO focusing on supporting and improving the lives of individuals with mental health needs.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
· To oversee the day to day running of services in area of responsibility in close liaison with the Service Coordinator and Rota Lead and escalate issues as required.
· To deal with routine service and staffing issues, offering appropriate advice and support, ensuring the smooth and effective running of Living our Lives locations in area of responsibility
· To act as a role model for staff and teams within area of responsibility
· To attend and contribute to staff meetings.
· To support the development and maintenance of effective relationships between workers, family and other agencies to promote collaborative working and partnerships.
· To comply with the legal requirements relating to services within their area of responsibility, including Care Quality Commission regulations.
· To support the effective management of information promoting communication between individuals, staff and other agencies.
· To ensure that people living in their own homes are safeguarded from abuse: evaluate the risk of abuse, failure to protect and harm to self and other people and ensure that matters regarding the care and management of individuals are reported in line with North East Lincolnshire multi agency policies and procedures and Nurtrio policies and procedures.
· To promote equality, diversity, rights and responsibilities.
· To drive the promotion of health and social wellbeing and assist people to maintain a sense of identity – this includes promoting and maximising social and developmental opportunities.
· To support the Service Coordinator in the assessment of individual need in the development, provision and review of support plans and risk assessments.
· To carry out work with due regard for the health and safety of themselves, other workers and Individuals’ and observe health and safety requirements relevant to activities.
· To complete weekly financial and medication audits under the direction of the Service Coordinator
· To take part in the out of hours on call system on a rotational basis.
· To deputise for the Service Coordinator as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.30 per hour
