An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Clinical Support Worker within the Emergency Department at Wirral University Teaching Hospital.

Main duties of the job
* Provides personal care to patients e.g. bathing, toileting, feeding and care of the dying.
* Works in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
* Demonstrates own duties to new starters and others as appropriate.
* Observes patients and reports any changes to a Registered Nurse.
* Performs basic observation processes by using automated devices for temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations and respiratory rate.
* Takes basic patient measurements e.g. height and weight.

Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training
* Level 2 in Care (or appropriate experience and commit to undertaking and completing within 18 months of commencement)
* Completed Care Certificate
* Experience working in a healthcare environment
* Experience working in the NHS
