We're recruiting for a Lecturer-Production and Performing Arts to join our team on a part-time, 18 hours per week, fixed term basis to 14th February 2025. The salary scale for this role is £12,436 - £21,270 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, pro rata'd to 18 hpw. The Lecturer-Production and Performing Arts role; You'll provide inspiration, skill and practical experience to students across our department's courses. You'll also contribute to the development of our course offer, building on our innovative provision. Key responsibilities of our Lecturer-Production and Performing Arts ; Plan and develops lessons, including the development of schemes of work Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities for designated students in order to support them int heir own development and future progression Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector Our ideal Lecturer-Production and Performing Arts should have the following qualifications, skills and experience; Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors Have recent and relevant experience of teaching Performing and Production Arts programmes Be able to deliver a variety of pedagogic strategies to suit a variety of learning styles Possess excellent interpersonal and team development skills and have the ability to contribute to the team and its goals.
