Job Description
1. Lead and manage audit assignments ensuring completion within specified timeframes.
2. Develop audit strategies and plans in line with the company's objectives.
3. Present audit findings and make recommendations to senior management.
4. Ensure compliance with all internal and external audit requirements.
5. Contribute to the development of the company's risk management strategies.
6. Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations.
8. Be involved in recruitment of the audit team and apprenticeship development reviews with colleagues where required.
9. Monitor the performance of the audit team and provide necessary coaching and guidance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Audit Manager' should have:
1. An academic background in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
2. Professional qualifications.
3. Proven experience in financial auditing and team leadership within the business services industry.
4. Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
5. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
