ROLE SPECIFICS: We are looking for graduates and recent graduates to join us as entry-level Analysts to support senior managers in our Investment Banking and Asset Management teams. The role will include: Analysing the financial data of clients, displaying strong research and numerical skills; Assisting with the development of financial models; Preparing well-argued and technically proficient memos, expressions of interest, proposals, presentations, decks and other pitch materials for transaction sourcing or origination; Assisting on projects and producing the required deliverables for clients throughout project execution; Keeping project team members fully informed throughout the execution phase, liaising with senior team members at all times; Demonstrating good organisational and time management skills, planning ahead; Taking responsibility for allocated administrative processes and tasks, such as scheduling conference calls, arranging meetings, managing data rooms for clients, and scanning, copying and filing documentation; Acting as a team player, cooperating and collaborating with colleagues across the Firm, irrespective of their location, business line, focus or title level; Allocating time appropriately so that all business development, execution or coverage activities are carried out with due consideration to colleagues. Responding promptly to client queries and requests, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery, and being sensitive to client needs, help to solve problems and manage expectations. CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS: The following skills and experience are considered essential for the role : University degree from an internationally reputable university (finance, economics, accounting, business or legal fields preferred); An understanding of asset management and investment banking operations; High level of organisational skills and attention to detail; Self-starter that can prioritise tasks, track overlapping assignments, and plan time appropriately; Excellent written and spoken English; Flexibility and adaptability to work with changing situations in a dynamic organisation; Strong planning, organisational and management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise across multiple matters; Ability to perform with a high level of discretion, professionalism and integrity; The candidate must be from the UK, EU, the EEA (the EU plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) or Switzerland and/or eligible to work in one of our office locations (London, Amsterdam, Dubai and Nairobi preferred).
