About the role You will be responsible for partnering with one or more teams across our direct and third-party distribution channels (including Retail Distribution, Mortgage Advice Team, Digital Channels, and Accord Distribution) along with Mortgage and Saving Trading and propositions, to provide specialist conduct risk and regulatory support and advice. You will have responsibility for ensuring that we have the right sales policies, frameworks and risk mitigation in place to sell our products safely and compliantly, consistently delivering good customer outcomes. You will be developing sales suitability risk management policies and frameworks to drive continuous improvement across the Commercial Division. You will be at the heart of delivering a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management as well as supporting the delivery of good customer outcomes. You will be placing a crucial role in facilitating the delivery of new propositions and products. maintaining the Group Sales Policy and multiple supporting customer journeys and frameworks, ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance and best practice in managing sales suitability risk. Please Note: We have two fixed-term opportunities available: one for a 6-month FTC and another for up to 12 months FTC. One of these roles will spec ifically partner with Retail Di stribution initially. About you A significant part of this role involves engaging with the business and third parties, including stakeholders up to the Director level. Therefore, it s crucial that you possess excellent communication skills, are confident in interacting with stakeholders at all levels, and enjoy collaborating across various business areas. You should be someone who aims to achieve positive outcomes for our customers. You will be comfortable managing your own workload, enjoy solving problems, and be proactive in working with stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvements. Additionally, you should be adept at working within a team and leveraging data and insights to drive decision-making and improvements. While having a full CeMap (1, 2 & 3) or a recognised risk/compliance qualification would be beneficial, candidates without these qualifications will still be considered if they have experience in risk management, policy and framework development, compliance, or regulated mortgage sales.
