Base : Stoke on Trent - Hybrid working, typically working 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday. We are seeking an experienced Co-ordinator to join our Work Winning team, this is a varied role that involves working across two departments in our business that are very closely interlinked. Our Estimating team and Supply Chain team are fundamental to the plans of future growth within our business and the Co-ordinator role is parament to their output and KPI delivery. Your role will support both departments in the co-ordination element of, preparing pricing enquiry packs for suppliers, obtaining their proposals and supporting the estimators to create competitive tenders to secure future works. A busy role, managing multiple enquiries and several communication threads at one time, you will act as the key role in ensuring a smooth transition between Work Winning team and once successful tenders are launched, the Supply Chain and Procurement team with handover information. This is a heavily administrative focused role requiring you to manage our internal procedures of storing and sharing responses, managing enquiries to the shared inbox and generally supporting the wider work winning as required. An outline of your responsibilities as an Estimating Co-Ordinator Collating supplier quotes, for review with the Estimating team – ensuring accuracy and timely completion Liaising with Estimating team to review bids received and agree administrative approach for estimating of specific bids. Communicating with customers and suppliers to issue enquiry packs and obtain any additional information required for the provision of quotations Assisting in investigations relating to price queries, to ensure that the department can understand the causes and put measures into place which prevent re-occurrence Importation of pricing bills information into Causeway (our internal software) Managing other documentation including uploading information received to internal systems, for accurate tracking of documentation Preparing handover files from Estimating to the Operational teams Prepare Supplier and Sub-contractor enquiries Assist with the further development of the supply chain, throughout the operational areas / regions. About You You will have experience of working within a busy administrative or Co-ordination role with the initiative and curiosity to challenge information to ensure its fit for purpose, we will of course provide full training in terms of expectations and requirements, if you are new to Construction Refurbishment sector. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong commercial acumen and confidence to challenge suppliers detail in their quotations. Microsoft office skills are essential, in particular the role will require a lot of work on Excel so a good basic understanding is essential.
