The People Team have been on an incredible journey of transformation over the past couple of years. We have made great strides towards adapting to organisational requirements as these have evolved, and towards establishing and embedding a collaborative ethos. Our Team plays a vital role in ensuring the success of the Councils, by providing expert guidance and support to our colleagues across all services areas.
We are now looking to welcome a dynamic, experienced and proactive Assistant People Partner in Operations to join our team, in a role where you will support the operational needs of our diverse workforce. You will provide advice and support on a range of matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice, working closely with managers and employees to foster a positive workforce culture and enhance employee relations.
About You
The successful candidate will have a relevant HR qualification and proven experience in an HR advisory role or similar. They will have a good understanding of UK employment legislation and demonstrable experience of managing employee relation cases with a proactive and solution-focused approach. They will have good interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting and credible relationships across the organisation.
