Job Title: Field Technician
Location: Head office Malvern, candidate will be working in the North England, Midlands area. Ideally, candidate should have quick access to main roads for long-distance travel.

Hours: 37.5 hours with overtime available
Salary: £23,400 pa
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hydrometry and Monitoring team in North England and the Midlands, with our head office based in Malvern. Flexibility and a willingness to work in nearby areas are crucial for our team.
The role involves visiting various sites, primarily undertaking field measurements of water quantity (flow), depth, quality, rainfall, etc. Additionally, responsibilities include the installing, operating, and maintaining of telemetry logging equipment.
* A passion for working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Confidence in working at heights, such as using ladders, and ease in working within confined spaces
* Good level of computer literacy (MS Office applications – Word, Excel)
* Valid UK driving license with a satisfactory driving history
* Demonstrates awareness of potential risks and safety protocols
* Holds GCSE qualifications or their equivalent in Geography, Maths, and English, or a background in an environmental-related discipline
* Experienced in hands-on tasks, including use of power and hand tools
* Willing to travel as required
* Possess a valid UK driver's license for 12 months+
Experience:
* Full training is provided; therefore, prior experience is not required provided you possess the essential skills listed above
* Experience with hydrometric field data collection is beneficial but not essential
