Business Development Executive
Basic £35,000 OTE £42,000pa
Swansea (hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 remotely)
Working for the world's largest cyber security training provider, you will be responsible for developing existing client relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities across a dedicated region.
Main duties & responsibilities as a Business Development Executive:
* To nurture and develop new and existing client relationships.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with assigned accounts.
* Generate customer contracts annually, and on time, whilst introducing additional products to the customer.
* Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to map accounts, distribute leads, qualify opportunities and provide sales support.
* Qualify incoming leads for given business area, regularly contacting them whilst ensuring renewals are implemented on time.
* Maintain accurate account, license, and contract records within the CRM system (Salesforce) and ongoing customer interaction through available data systems such as Tableau and internal dashboards.
* Monitor upcoming renewals, proactively identifying difficulties that could delay or impact the renewal and escalate when needed.
* Maximise expansion opportunities to generate additional revenue (upsell/cross-sell).
* Follow, understand, and translate the latest Cyber Security developments and trends.
Key Skills required as a Business Development Executive include:
* Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Sales role preferably within renewals or working in a Corporate environment
* Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient in delivering business results and projects
* Ability to network and communicate at all levels both internally and externally
* Educated to a degree standard or equivalent
* Ability and desire to travel to events when required
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills
* Ability to plan, forecast and report against sales plan and targets
* Computer literate - competent in using all Microsoft Packages and LinkedIn
