Job Opportunity: Reception 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Just outside of Lancaster

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Reception 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a school located just outside of Lancaster. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to a child with SEN, assisting them in accessing the curriculum and reaching their full potential.
Requirements:
1. A qualification related to working with children in schools, such as Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
2. Demonstrated experience working within classroom settings and familiarity with the national curriculum.
3. Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is essential.
4. Ability to travel to the school via car.
5. Experience with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Provide one-to-one support to a Reception student with SEN, helping them to engage with learning activities and achieve their learning goals.
7. Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and accommodations for the student.
8. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of the student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
