Working independently, you will show good management of personal workload, ensuring the safe operation and driving of our various vehicles, in-line with our health and safety standards. As a Chain Skip, you will demonstrate good organisational and time-management skills, adapting to varying routes and schedules based on the evolving needs of our clients and the business. Being a positive and enthusiastic person, you will be able to adapt to operational obstacles that may arise in varying weather conditions. Excellent communication skills are required to coordinate regularly with our transport planners and the wider team, ensuring an efficient and friendly service. This is a permanent, full-time position, working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You may be required to work additional hours and bank holidays, so availability during these times is important, as is the ability to cover holidays and sickness as needed. Essential Qualifications • Category C Drivers Licence (Class 2) with no historical driving disqualifications. • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). It is desirable that you have experience operating the specific vehicle type, as well as experience within the waste industry, however is not essential.
