It’s a super exciting time to join us as we begin to deliver our newly awarded Smoking Cessation support services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and we’re looking for a Marketing Lead to join us!
Our programmes are designed to support residents across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight access the support they need to stop smoking. This can be done through a number of approaches and will include the supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT) being sent to them. Combining these, with digital, remote or face-to face appointments with Stop Smoking Advisors to support them to ensure their quit attempt is successful.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Lead to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies for our community stop smoking service across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. This role is crucial in increasing awareness of our service, driving engagement, and ultimately, supporting more individuals to quit smoking. The Marketing Lead will be responsible for creating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, managing digital presence, building relationships with key stakeholders, and analysing campaign effectiveness to optimise performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a passion for public health, and a proven track record in delivering successful marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities as a Marketing Lead will include:
1. Strategic Marketing Planning & Implementation:
* In collaboration with the Head of Service, and Engagement and Partnerships Lead, develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the service's objectives and target audience, to help ensure the service’s hit their respective annual targets.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
* In collaboration with the Head of Service, manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
* Develop and maintain a marketing calendar to coordinate campaigns and activities.
* Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement.
2. Digital Marketing & Content Creation:
* In collaboration with Thrive Tribe’s Head of Brand and Marketing, manage and optimise the service's website and social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) to increase engagement and reach.
* Develop and create engaging content, including website copy, social media posts, blog articles, videos, and infographics.
* Implement and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and promote service offerings.
* In collaboration with Thrive Tribe’s Head of Brand and Marketing, utilise SEO strategies to improve online visibility and drive traffic to the service's website.
* Monitor and analyse website and social media analytics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
3. Brand Management & Communication:
* Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
* Manage the production of marketing assets, including leaflets, posters, and digital resources.
* Write and distribute press releases and other media outputs
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
* Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
* Generate regular reports on marketing performance and provide insights to the Head of Service
* Utilise data to inform marketing strategies and optimise campaign performance.
* Maintain accurate records of marketing activities and budgets.
5. Teamwork and Collaboration:
* Work closely with the service delivery team to ensure alignment between marketing and service delivery.
* Collaborate with other departments and external agencies as required.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices.
* Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team environment
6. Pan Thrive Tribe:
* Work with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new projects and service developments – we’re always looking to share knowledge and resources!
* Ensure due consideration is given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance legislation, requirements and guidance, specifically in relation to GDPR and collecting and utilising marketing consent.
* Help us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture forward across our services and using every opportunity to embed our values!

Contract: Part time (22.5 hours) Permanent.
Salary: Starting at £31,000 (pro rata) with the banding rising to £33,000 (pro rata) per year.
