We listen to the public and find out their experience of using, or trying to use, Great Britains railways and Englands bus, tram and major road networks. We bring together transport providers and share these views so problems can be fixed but if they are more challenging to resolve, publish an improvement plan. Our analysis, drawn from data and insight across the industry, puts the voice of the transport user at the heart of decision making in Westminster, Cardiff, Holyrood and with the Mayors of our great city regions. We have recently undergone a full organisation restructure to set us up to succeed. As a result, there is a significant amount of change happening internally at the same time as changing how we deliver more impact for external stakeholders through our business plan. And thats where you come in This is an exciting opportunity for you to join an ambitious organisation at a pivotal time for transport users and for our people. Role outline This post holder must be organised, adaptable, have strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be dealing with a range of administrative tasks across the organisation and will work closely with a variety colleagues and stakeholders enabling the organisation to make a positive impact for transport users. There are currently offices in London and Manchester. There is an expectation to work out of one of the offices, but there are opportunities for flexible working. What you will do Provide general support to team of Directors Create a wide range of documents including presentations, reports and other documents Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take notes and minutes Manage calendars and diary administration Assisting in compiling management information and reports, tracking actions as escalating as necessary. Systems reporting and management Project administration Provide general administrative support to the organisation as required Arrange hotel and travel bookings Complete expenses claims and other financial administration Update the CRM database with contact details and complete ad hoc CRM reporting Office management monitor and order stationery and other supplies, liaise with contractors as necessary to keep equipment like printers working, keep the office tidy Event management support Assist colleagues across the COO team and in other teams, with administrative duties and project support as and when required Person specification About you Able to work across multiple projects and programmes of work Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail Good skills with Microsoft 365 suite of applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, working collaboratively and seamlessly in cross-functional teams Can respond accordingly to a change in priorities Able to solve problems with a self-motivated and solutions-focused outlook Tenacious, proactive, and creative in approach - and makes things happen Diversity of thought, naturally challenging accepted norms.
