Job Description
We have a current opportunity for a Scheme Project Manager on a contract basis. The position will be based predominantly in York, and up to the North East.
This is for an APSIM (Asset Protection Scheme Interface Manager/ Scheme level PM moving up to PM) for a Tier 1 Rail Client/Consultancy who are part of the Network Rail ASPRO Framework.
This is a good opportunity for someone Scheme Project Manager level to be integrated into a fast paced and busy environment, with the opportunity to move up to Project Meager level.
The opportunity for an APSIM (Asset Protection Scheme Interface Manager/ Scheme Project Manager) to work along side Project Managers within NR ASPRO team.
Asset Protection and Optimisation teams (ASPRO) provide expert railway assistance and support to those who are planning activities on or near the railway.
ASPRO provide you with rail safety assurance services such as; construction, engineering and infrastructure access.
Key experience for a Scheme Project Manager -
1. Exposure to Scheme Project Manager work/roles
2. Rail and Infrastructure background
3. Construction and Site experience
4. Worked on and managed Large and Small scale Projects
This role will be a hybrid role, based out of York Central/Team Valley NE offices, ideally 3 days a week in the office, and the rest of the time at home. There will be site visits too as part of the job, which expenses are able to be claimed back on.
An IR35 determination (QDOS) will need to be done to determine the status, and the rate is DOE, however looking around £300 - £340 per day.
Start dates will be discussed depending on candidate availability/notice periods, however ideally it will be within 4 weeks.
