To prepare and serve food / snacks to the Children attending the Childcare Centre
2. Principle Accountabilities
a) Prepare food dishes and snacks as required and to assist the manager to produce healthy menus ensuring Ofsted and Government guidelines are met;
b) Organise the ordering of food and ingredients, receive and check deliveries each week and ensure proper storage of same, ensuring security of stock;
c) Prepare and serve hot / cold food in the Childcare Centre for lunch times and snack times;
d) Ensure all children's individual dietary requirements are fully met;
e) Complete in stocktaking and the rotation of stock;
f) To ensure the kitchen and lunch room, equipment and surfaces are cleaned to the required standards and log records completed;
g) Temperature reading / monitoring / recording of foodstuffs;
h) To attend team meetings as required;
i) To comply with all relevant policies and procedures;
To perform such other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as required by your Line Manager.
