We have a cracking opportunity within our team for a PR specialist looking to develop their career in a unique and exciting agency – working with some extraordinary people on some superb consumer and B2B brands.
You will have in-house or agency PR experience and/or be educated to degree level in PR or a related subject. But more importantly – we’re looking for you to have tons of enthusiasm and an appetite to really develop your PR skills in a daring, dynamic and disruptive agency.
Boutique is a true channel agency, giving you exposure to a broad range of marketing services. We don’t believe in working in silos.
Some of the things you’ll do:
1. Create press materials (press releases, news stories, case studies, etc.)
2. Pitch stories and feature ideas to journalists across print, broadcast, and online media
3. Develop client relationships
4. People management
5. Lead client meetings
6. Evaluate campaigns effectively using best of breed PR, Social Media, and SEO tools
7. Respond to enquiries from journalists and identify newsjacking opportunities
8. Demonstrate an ability to secure results independently and as part of a team
9. Engage key online influencers through a mix of channels
10. Maintain weekly and monthly reporting and evaluation documents
11. Brainstorm creative ideas
Some of the things you’ll bring:
1. Creative thinking
2. Relationship building
3. Experience of managing digital PR accounts is essential, experience of traditional and events would be beneficial
4. Experience of line management and developing more junior team members
5. Strong media relations skills
6. An understanding of the media across B2C and B2B publications
7. Excellent time management – working to both internal and external deadlines
8. Some knowledge of SEO and social media and how the channels integrate with PR
