Reward
* £65,000k
* 5% annual bonus

Job Role:
* Establishing and monitoring procedures and policies to regularly report financial information.
* Preparing consolidated statutory accounts and overseeing the preparation of management accounts.
* Leading the financial team in managing transactional tasks including ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, cash posting, and general ledger entries.
* Handling VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax duties, liaising with external auditors, preparing audit packs.
* Overseeing company accounts and investments, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and assisting with business planning.
* Preparing annual budget and quarterly forecasts, reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
* Developing and implementing financial reporting systems to comply with regulations and legislation.
* Managing cashflow, tracking transactions, providing regular financial forecasts, and performing employee reviews.
* Setting Department Objectives.
* Motivating and coaching finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
* Budget process, including Capital budgets and liaising with each Department Head to set budgets each year and maintain monthly budget tracking.
* Monthly financial statements Month End and Year end Activities.
Skills and experience:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification.
* Strong understanding of PAYE and VAT regulations.
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
* Exceptional leadership and staff management skills.
* Strong project management experience and ability to drive process improvements.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Advanced IT skills.
