About The Role:
The Influencer Manager – UK will be a performance focussed, proactive, creative and hardworking individual who’s passionate about influencer marketing, building lasting relationships and social media. Taking a leading role within our MP Activewear and the Myprotein Influencer programme you will have responsibility for growing and nurturing the roster for one of the most notable marketing channels in the nutrition division.
What you’ll be doing:
* Working in the central nutrition Influencer & Activations team, reporting into the Head of Influencer Performance.
* Responsible for finding, recruiting and onboarding notable and leading experts in the fitness & health category.
* Delivering strategic athlete and influencer recruitment, including aspirational athletes, nutritionists, and sports professionals.
* Manage junior influencer heads and support their development and growth within the influencer team.
* Responsible for end-to-end relationship management with influencers, including outreach, negotiation, setting KPIs, onboarding process, nurturing relationships and evaluating performance.
* Negotiate and manage influencer contracts to build long term relationships with clear deliverables matching the influencers profile.
* Support the international teams on negotiation tactics and support where necessary.
* Ensure there is a robust activation plan for all athletes, aligning with site and trading plans, and collaborating with wider marketing channels.
* Work closely with Myprotein marketing channel leads to execute the activation plan.
* Collaborate with social teams to deliver any channel-specific talent requirements.
* Manage a roster of Global tier 1 talent that supports brand development.
* Create & establish relationships with external agencies to onboard new talent.
* Daily relationship management with a portfolio of Global tier 1 talent.
* Assist junior team members with negotiations and influencer KPI setting.
* Ensure all influencer partnerships comply with legal regulations and company guidelines.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activities.
* Manage the UK influencer marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and maximum return on investment.
Role Requirements:
* +2 years’ experience in relationship management and/or marketing roles requiring strong communication skills.
* An interest in the athleisure, fitness, nutrition and overall health industry.
* An understanding of how influencers can build brand awareness and drive commercial value.
* Knowledge of both current and emerging global platforms.
* Strong project management & organisation skills; demonstrated ability to execute successful projects.
* Experience with working in a team and people management.
