Trainee Paraplanner Location: North Leeds (LS17) Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience benefits Hours: 9am - 5pm (Initially Office based. We are looking to bring on board and support a motivated individual to join us as part of our team as a Trainee Paraplanner to work alongside a highly professional Wealth Management team in North Leeds. The candidate will be working alongside our experienced team of administrators and our Senior Paraplanner to support our Wealth Managers. They will be responsible for ensuring clients’ investment transactions are carried out accurately, assisting with meeting preparation and providing the advisers with technical information and reports. The Role: Trainee Paraplanner As a Trainee Paraplanner you will be preparing suitability letters and reports. You will be transacting client investments, protection and mortgages and assisting with the preparation of presentations and documentation required for client meetings You will be researching and documenting client’s current arrangements You will be obtaining and maintaining detailed client information to support the advice team as well as ensuring supporting documentation and back-office systems are maintained and all client files remain compliant You will provide an efficient, friendly, and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries by telephone, email and in person There is scope for progression within this role, and study support and training will be provided. The Person: Trainee Paraplanner You will be working towards your DipPFS qualification, or intending to start your studies imminently Some paraplanning or report writing experience is essential SJP Back Office Systems and Advice Framework knowledge and experience is essential You will need to have an understanding of regulations and products, and their practical application You are IT proficient and can build, manipulate, and understand Excel spreadsheets with formulae You have excellent English language and grammar skills and are able to communicate effectively You are highly organised, methodical, and disciplined You are self-motivated.
