Role Overview The Senior Account Manager or Account Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the management and delivery of a prestigious global sponsorship for a leading OEM in Formula One. Reporting to the Account Director, this role will ensure the successful execution of sponsorship activations and campaigns, while maintaining strong day-to-day client relationships. You will be a key team member in managing multiple aspects of the sponsorship, from logistics and campaign coordination to ensuring brand alignment across all touchpoints. This role is ideal for a proactive and organised individual with a passion for motorsport sponsorships and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in account management, ideally within sports marketing, and a collaborative approach to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Client Management • Serve as a key member of the client services team and point of contact for the client, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently • Build strong client relationships by providing consistent updates, addressing inquiries, and ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations • Assist the Account Director in managing high-level client interactions and developing strategic proposals and documentation Sponsorship Activation Support • Assist in the development and implementation of sponsorship activations, working with internal and external teams (creative, production and comms) to bring campaigns to life • Manage the planning and execution of specific sponsorship deliverables, including event activations, hospitality experiences, digital content, and on-site branding • Coordinate with Formula One teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of sponsorship assets at races and events Campaign Coordination & Delivery • Oversee the delivery of assigned workstreams related to the sponsorship, ensuring that all tasks are logged, completed on time and within budget • Manage the logistics of campaign activations, including coordinating race-day assets, guest experiences, and partner deliverables • Work closely and support the Account Director to ensure all activations meet the client’s objectives and enhance the overall sponsorship impact Reporting & Performance Tracking • Compile and create reports on the performance of sponsorship activations, including gathering key data and insights to evaluate success • Help to monitor and track KPIs, ensuring the sponsorship delivers measurable value to the client • Provide regular updates and status reports to both the client and internal teams on the progress of campaigns and activations Relationship Building • Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including Formula One teams, rights holders, media partners, and vendors, ensuring smooth collaboration and execution of projects • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and delivery across all aspects of the partnership Budget Management • Assist in managing budgets related to sponsorship activations, ensuring that costs are logged, controlled and aligned with client expectations • Work closely with the Account Director and finance team to track expenses, secure approvals, and deliver projects within financial parameters Team Support • Help mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring they are supported in their roles and contributing to the successful management of the account • Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring that communication is clear and all teams are aligned on project objectives Key Skills & Experience Required Experience • At least 5 years of account management experience, with a focus on sponsorship, marketing, or sports partnerships (Formula One or motorsport experience is an advantage) • Proven track record in delivering successful sponsorship activations and client management • Experience working within an agency environment and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously Skills • Strong understanding of sponsorship and activation within a global context, particularly in motorsport or premium sports • Excellent client service skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively • Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience coordinating campaigns or activations • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage logistics and ensure flawless execution across multiple projects • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare client presentations and reports • Proficient in managing budgets and delivering projects on time and within financial scope • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to use a project management system Other Attributes • Passionate about sponsorship or client services – ideally in a motorsport environment • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment • Ability to maintain patience, composure, and a level-headed approach in high-pressure situations What You Will Get from Us • Salary - Senior Account Manager: £45-50k - dependent on experience • Salary - Account Manager: £35-45k - dependent on experience • The opportunity to make an impact and develop your career • An innovative and friendly workplace with a team we're proud to be part of • A flexible office and working from home policy • Pension • Workplace benefits • 25 days holiday public holidays winter break • Two wellness days per year • Your birthday off • Training and development • For this role, a relocation package for 1.5 hour commute (£5k over 6 months can be offered) Why Join Us?
