Forge Talent are supporting a globally operating and industry leading organisation with a newly created requirement for a Treasury Assistant, as a result of a recent promotion.
You will support the Treasury Team to manage a high volume of bank transactions, ensuring efficiencies for the Accounts Receivables and Payables Teams.

You will be an active team member with previous exposure to accounting processes or knowledge gained through AAT studies.

Treasury Assistant Responsibilities:
* Posting and allocation of all cash received via multiple bank accounts.
* Posting and allocation of foreign currency payments.
* Processing and recording of incoming credit card payments
* Processing of and recording of refunds as required.
* Raising and posting journals, using double entry accounting processes.
* Completing received credit card payment allocations
* Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring all are balanced for month end, resolving any unmatching items as required.
* Building and developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Supporting Audit requirements.
* Other finance duties to support the Treasury Manager and Wider Finance Team as required.
Treasury Assistant Required Experience:
* Previous Accounting experience and understanding, with an awareness of finance functions is highly advantageous.
* A desire to progress in a Finance career path, having started or looking to pursue AAT studies.
* Strong IT and computerised systems skills.
* The ability to work positively and proactively as part of a team, supporting The Treasury and wider Finance Teams to reach agreed goals.
* Excellent Witten and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* A customer focussed approach to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Problem solving the abilities with a “right first time” approach and mentality.
* A positive, supportive and motivated approach to tasks, duties and teamwork.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks to ensure time deadlines are met.
