SALES & ACCOUNT MANAGER - LEEDS
£30,000 - £37,000 basic, uncapped bonus, car allowance, and benefits
Client, Job Role, and Expectations
My client is a leading provider of CCTV, access control, and cloud-based security software for the construction, real estate, and facilities management industries. Founded in 2011, they are an innovative, fast-growing company committed to delivering best-in-class technology and exceptional customer service.
Key Accountabilities include:
1. Actively prospect and qualify new leads in the construction sector to grow our customer base
2. Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through to contract signing and implementation
3. Maintain and expand existing client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
4. Collaborate cross-functionally with the product, engineering, and support teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing service
5. Provide training and assistance to customers on the use of our CCTV software and mobile applications
6. Gather customer feedback to help inform product roadmap and enhancement planning
7. Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators
Experience/Qualifications
1. 3+ years of proven success in a sales or account management role, preferably within the construction, security, or technology industries
2. Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex CCTV systems and cloud-based software
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information for a non-technical audience
4. Consultative selling approach, with focus on understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions
5. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales automation software
6. Comfortable with prospecting, negotiating contracts, and driving deals to close
7. Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
2. Existing relationships and network within the construction industry
3. Experience with CCTV, access control, or similar physical security technologies
4. Certification or training in security system design and installation
Package / Remuneration:
The remuneration package offered at this stage is subject to the experience of the candidate, but will likely include the following:
1. Basic Salary: Between £30,000 - £37,000
2. Company Car: Car Allowance
3. Additional: Uncapped Bonus, Health, Pension, laptop, mobile phone
