Job Description
Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
* Participate in regular tax audits and payroll.
* Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues.
* Manage month-end and year-end closing.
* Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
* Organise financial data into usable information and maintain updated records.
* Coordinate the company's financial planning and budget management functions.
* Ensure compliance with the law
* Other ad-hoc tasks as required by accounting director and deputy accounting director
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
* Experience in financial reporting
* Strong knowledge of accounting software and systems
* Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
* Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
