To support our continued growth we are looking for Fire Door Fitters to join our team in Walsall Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following: Installation of Fire Door Sets All aspects of fire door maintenance Working in a team and also independently when require Liaise with management team on a daily basis Carry out Fire door assessments and record findings Person specification Qualifications Essential: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience Desirable: CSCS Card Relevant experience Essential: Proven experience working as a Carpenter carrying out maintenance to fire doors and fitting fire doors Experience in working in the social housing/health/high street sector Trade background experience Knowledge/Awareness of Health and Safety on site Aptitude, skills & abilities Essential: The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to use own initiative Excellent communication skills Ability to diagnose/problem solve Personal attributes Essential: Proactive Adaptable Reliable All site workers will be required to undergo a DBS check. A Full UK driving license is essential Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: You will work 39 hours each week, Monday to Friday.
