WHAT'S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our Ecommerce Platform Migration project. This critical role will oversee the seamless transition from our current platform to a new, robust Ecommerce solution. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, within budget and aligned with business objectives.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
As our Project Manager, you will...
* Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the Ecommerce platform migration, from initial planning and scoping to post-launch support.
* Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, and monitor project progress, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
* Work closely with technical, design, marketing, and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of the new platform.
* Ensure clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
* Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party providers for integrations, customization, and technical support.
* Ensure that the migration adheres to best practices, compliance standards, and provides a positive user experience for customers.
* Manage change requests and scope adjustments, ensuring they are documented and communicated effectively.
* Track and report on project metrics, ensuring that objectives are met and the project stays within budget.
* Develop and execute a post-launch plan to ensure ongoing support, monitoring, and optimization of the new Ecommerce platform.
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE
You might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in Project Management, with a strong focus on Ecommerce or digital transformation projects.
* Proven experience leading large-scale Ecommerce platform migrations (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.).
* Strong understanding of Ecommerce platforms, integrations, and related technologies.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
* Expertise in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketers, and third-party vendors.
* Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities.
It would be even better if you have:
* PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
* Familiarity with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
* Knowledge of data migration, API integrations, and Ecommerce analytics.
