We're looking for an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks based in Okehampton, Devon, working towards a Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering Fitting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

How does an apprenticeship work?
As an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter you'll be enrolled onto a Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering Fitting, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team to provide design, build and maintenance solutions to protect the UK's essential services and assets.
Your day to day will include:
* Assisting with the installation of mechanical systems
* Performing tests and inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely
* Assembling mechanical systems and ensuring all components fit together correctly
* Following strict health and safety protocols on-site
What are we looking for?
The role of Apprentice Mechanical Fitter is great for you if:
* Hold five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including GCSE Maths and English Language
* Have the ability to handle physical work
* Willing to learn
* Self-motivated, punctual and organised
* Full Driving Licence
