Our client is a longstanding and highly reputable company that specializes in a range of equipment for the Pharma and Scientific industries. Working collaboratively with their customers, they create tailored solutions to suit individual requirements and deliver a high-quality client service. They are now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their friendly and supportive team.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct calibrations and site service work.
2. Perform routine maintenance of test equipment.
3. Conduct validation of test equipment and methods.
4. Implement the Quality System as per QMS training.
5. File non-conformance reports.
6. Communicate with customers regarding calibration work.
7. Participate in customer/UKAS annual audits.
8. Prepare and provide feedback for lab meetings and management reviews on key topics.
9. Complete IQ/OQ documentation/protocols/calibration certificates.
10. Provide technical support via phone and email.
The role will be site-based in Chorley when not visiting client sites across the UK.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will have experience within a field service engineering role in the Pharmaceutical or Scientific industries. You will also hold a degree in an Engineering discipline or a similar relevant qualification. Experience in refrigeration would be a bonus but is not mandatory. Furthermore, you should be self-motivated, proficient in computers, and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills. You should also be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. A driver’s licence and own transport will also be required.
