We are creating a new team that combines our employee relations and organisational development functions under one leader. This new team will concentrate on fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and genuine connection. We're searching for an enthusiastic leader to drive this transformation.
About the role
In this role, you will:
- Establish a new Employee Experience and Development team, moving away from the traditional employee relations model.
- Develop and implement a new employee experience strategy, aligning our policies and processes to the new way of working.
- Prevent case escalation by utilising early intervention and engagement strategies.
- Lead complex and sensitive ER cases, advising and supporting other colleagues.
- Monitor and analyse trends and metrics, identifying areas of improvement and recommending solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in employment laws and best practices, sharing this knowledge to support compliance and risk mitigation.
About you
- A proven track record of success in leading employee relations within a fast-paced environment (desirable but not essential).
- Expertise in employment law and best practices.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Awareness of organisational development strategies and approaches.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into action.
- A genuine passion for people and a commitment to creating a positive workplace.
- The ability to be both empathetic and decisive.
