An exciting opportunity has arisen within the University Hospitals Dorset MSK Therapy Team for a full time band 7 enhanced practice physiotherapist.
Predominantly working as a clinical MSK and orthopaedic clinician, the post holder will act as a clinical lead for the lower limb team. This will involve managing a varied caseload covering outpatient MSK services and clinical work within the Dorset Musculoskeletal surgical interface service. The post-holder will hold leadership responsibilities within the wider MSK therapy team including clinical supervision and service development.

To take a clinical leadership role in the delivery of therapy services to MSK therapy patients treated at University Hospitals Dorset and within the DMSK surgical interface service.
This post will predominantly involve the delivery of outpatient clinical care for lower limb outpatient MSK clinics and DMSK service.
The post holder will provide skilled leadership and responsibility for service development, the setting and monitoring of standards of practice and implement policy and policy changes in own clinical area. Furthermore, will participate and lead quality improvement projects across MSK Therapy and make recommendations to the team and service leads.

This role involves enhanced practice, and the successful candidate will be supported in the training and delivery of enhanced practice skills to support their core practice. This may include injection therapy and imaging requesting and interpretation skills.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Christchurch Hospital and Poole Hospital
