About the role We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager – SMB to join our team. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with small and medium-sized business (SMB) clients. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and drive revenue growth by delivering tailored solutions that address the unique needs of SMBs Key duties and responsibilities are: Client Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the SMB sector. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships. Business Development - Identify new sales opportunities within the SMB sector, leveraging market research and industry knowledge. Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share. Solution Selling - Understand clients’ needs and challenges to propose customized solutions that align with organizational goals. Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, deliver presentations, and close sales. Contract Management - Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company policies. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of sales activities and account information in CRM systems. Market Knowledge - Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and policies affecting the SMB sector. Provide insights and feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies. Performance Metrics - Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, including revenue growth, customer retention, and account penetration. Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast accuracy. Education, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably within the SMB sector. Strong understanding of SMB procurement processes and compliance requirements. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
