Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their team in Southport. Established in 1985, they have grown to become one of the North Wests leading and most reputable flat and pitched roofing contractors.
Are you the right person for the job?
1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in roofing estimation or a similar role, ideally within the UK construction industry
2. Full UK driving license (max 3 points)
3. Experience with estimating software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
4. Commitment to ongoing professional development in roofing estimation
5. Physically fit, able to climb ladders/scaffolds, and confident working at height on roofs
6. Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management techniques
7. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, contractors, and team members
