You will be joining a business established for over 60 years and with a proven track record in supporting thousands of sites on a contractual basis, and due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for additional Field Service Engineers to become part of their long-established field service team throughout the UK. After an initial training period, as a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be based from home, and you will be responsible for preventative maintenance inspections as well as the reactive maintenance, service and breakdown repair of fuel pumping and dispensing equipment throughout the Home Counties and local region, working to strict SLAs. You will ideally be a time served Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Vehicle or Plant Mechanic; be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working within a field service, workshop or a multi-skilled maintenance engineering capacity and have experience on the reactive maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps, motors and valves as well as basic electrical fault finding using handheld test equipment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be expected to be on call 1 in 3 weekends. Individuals who have had some exposure to hydraulics and 3-phase electrical systems are desirable.
