The college mainly specialises in Level 3 education. Currently, over 2000 students are enrolled at the College, most are enrolled on A Level qualifications, a smaller number on BTEC qualifications, a very small number on GCSE Maths and English Language resit qualifications, and on an Art Foundation course at Level 4 (offered in partnership with University of the Arts, London), and a larger number on a range of Foundation Degree courses at Level 5 (offered in partnership with The University of Liverpool). There is also a small, well established Foundation Learning provision at the College, offering Entry Level and Level 1 qualifications. Young people progress to the College from over 100 different schools, approximately 50% of students coming from the boroughs of St Helens and Knowsley and the remaining 50% from the wider Merseyside conurbation. The college is a member of the Sixth Form Colleges Association, the Maple Group (13 high performing sixth form colleges), the Association of Catholic Sixth Form Colleges, and of Merseyside Colleges, the Archdiocese of Liverpool School Improvement Trust, and finally, St Helens Chamber. We have formal partnerships with The University of Liverpool and University of the Arts, London.
