Empowering Safety with Certified Doorsets | Marketing & Business Development Director
Responsible for driving business growth through lead generation, identifying new opportunities, and executing marketing initiatives. This role blends business development and marketing efforts, supporting campaigns, conducting research, and crafting content to enhance brand awareness and generate leads. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential in this dynamic environment, ensuring effective outreach and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Using CRM to develop existing and dormant relationships, acquire new customers and increase sales opportunities.
2. Making phone calls with an agreed-upon number to proactively contact customers and generate enquiries, boosting engagement and fostering leads effectively.
3. Respond to customer enquiries and provide support as needed to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
4. Contribute to the creation of marketing content, including website copy, social media posts, blog articles, and email newsletters.
5. Support the creation and production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and promotional items.
6. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment of marketing activities with business goals.
7. Communicate regularly with team members to share updates, coordinate tasks, and address any issues or concerns.
8. Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising.
9. Conduct research on market trends, customer demographics, and competitor activities to support marketing strategies.
10. Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and organising marketing materials.
General Skill Requirements:
1. Previous experience in marketing & sales support is advantageous.
2. Confident on the telephone to speak with new and dormant customers.
3. A good understanding of marketing principles and techniques.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills.
5. Creative thinker.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
8. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Person Specification:

Previous experience is desirable but not as important as an ability to adapt and learn quickly. We are looking for candidates who can prove themselves in a competitive sales marketplace. A strong character and likeable personality are more important than a proven track record. Full, on-the-job training and support will be given for this role.
