Location: THE PIG - in the Cotswolds, Cirencester. £11.10 - £11.44 per hour plus tronc (OTE £12.10 - £12.44). Hours: Full Time. Must be able to cover some weekend days. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicate maintenance team. As a Maintenance Assistant you will work as part of a small team, cohesively maintaining the functionality, efficiency, health & safety of the hotel. The ability to manage preventative maintenance is key, along with knowledge and understanding of fire safety. You will be required to be 'hands on’ expressing a ‘can do’ attitude. Most of the responsibilities will involve basic repairs of damaged facilities, equipment, painting and decorating, at times you may be required to help the Maintenance Manager coordinate renovations and additional projects. Experience in a similar role or any trade experience is preferred, along with any qualifications or exposure to PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, fire safety, carpentry, plant room management, health, and safety. This role can be considered as a fully funded Apprenticeship in Property Maintenance Level 2 in Partnership with Swindon College – GCSE Maths and English required.
