As a proven scientist with a track record of driving scientific development in a fast-paced environment, you are an ideal prospect to join a team of motivated and skilled individuals as a Development Scientist within the Analytical Development group at Broughton.
In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring the advancement of our scientific initiatives, ensuring the development, validation, and on-time delivery of high-quality methodologies and results our clients need to drive their products to market.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
* Generate and interpret data from a variety of sample types using many analytical techniques, drawing meaningful conclusions and reporting findings to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Work alongside passionate and accomplished scientists from various backgrounds, promoting creative problem-solving.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex scientific challenges and contribute to the development of innovative solutions and technologies.
* Establish validation protocols, working closely with Quality teams ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements to produce robust, reliable methodologies and contributing to regulatory submissions.
* Provide expert guidance on scientific development and validation strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
* Actively contribute to the advancement of scientific research, in line with business needs and directions.
You will need to:
* Demonstrate 2+ years’ experience within the field of Analytical Chemistry, demonstrated through publications, projects, or industry collaborations.
* Demonstrate 2+ years’ experience within the field of Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry within a regulated environment.
* Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
