Key Responsibilities
Recruiting Talent
* Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to understand Solforge’s talent needs, focusing on engineering (core protocol, distributed systems) and growth/business development roles.
* Proactively source, identify, and engage passive candidates across various platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter, crypto communities, etc.).
* Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates with a deep understanding of blockchain, distributed systems, and Web3 business ecosystems.
* Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to target both technical and non-technical candidates.
* Own the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer negotiation. This includes screening and assessing candidate profiles to ensure a strong alignment with Solforge’s values, culture, and technical requirements.
* Utilize various sourcing tools, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and recruitment software to organize and manage the candidate funnel.
* Stay up to date with the latest trends in crypto and Web3 to understand the evolving skills landscape.
* Manage relationships with external recruiters when specialized searches are needed
Culture Building Initiatives
* Develop employer branding initiatives to establish Solforge as an employer of choice in the Web3 space
* Conduct initial outreach, build relationships with candidates, and create an exceptional candidate experience from the first point of contact.
* Seeking a leader who can cultivate a positive, sustainable remote-first culture as our team scales rapidly in 2025.
Organising Team-Wide Events
* Lead engaging team offsites and events that foster connection, culture alignment and team connectivity.
* Design strategic team-building initiatives that drive cohesion and align with our organizational values.
Requirements
* 2+ years of technical recruitment experience, with a proven track record of hiring engineers
* Experience recruiting engineering talent for Web3 companies with a solid understanding of overall blockchain technology, particularly the Solana ecosystem and its overall infrastructure
* Experience sourcing for engineering roles (especially protocol engineers and distributed systems specialists) and growth/business development roles.
* Excellent ability to engage with passive candidates and build lasting relationships.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to pitch Solforge’s vision and opportunities effectively.
* Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and community-based sourcing (Discord, Telegram, etc.).
* Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote-first environment.
* Passion for decentralized technology, crypto, and Web3 innovation.
